Medhini graduates!

On May 8, the lab gathered to celebrate our own Medhini Anand at the Department of Cellular Biology’s undergraduate commencement ceremony. Medhini has been an invaluable member of our research team, working alongside Disha to define the kinetics of CD8+ virtual memory T cell migration into neonatal lung tissue.

Medhini graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and will join the inaugural class of the University of Georgia School of Medicine. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and excited to see where her future in medicine takes her. We are also thrilled that she will remain close by in Athens and hope she continues to visit the lab as she begins this next chapter.
